Two-year materials warranty

Clear product coverage. Straight answers.

Eligible coating materials may be covered for up to two years, subject to your written project documents, manufacturer requirements and the exclusions below. Labour and workmanship are not included.

Quick answer

Two years. Materials only.

Dynamic Painting provides up to two years of materials-only coverage for eligible coating products supplied on an accepted project.

Coverage does not include labour, workmanship, preparation, application, access equipment, removal or repainting costs. Eligibility depends on the original written scope, the actual cause of the issue and applicable manufacturer product terms.

Eligible coating materials

What can be reviewed?

A possible claim must meet the project, timing, product and cause requirements before any material remedy is considered.

01

Included project surface

The affected surface and coating material must be identified in the accepted Dynamic Painting project scope.

02

Within two years

The concern must be reported within two years of the project completion date, unless signed project documents provide a different applicable term.

03

Qualifying material concern

The issue must be attributable to an eligible coating material rather than application, building movement, moisture, wear or an underlying condition.

04

Product and manufacturer review

Project records, available product information, site conditions and any relevant manufacturer requirements may be considered before a remedy is determined.

Coverage limitations and exclusions

Paint cannot correct every building condition.

Visible coating problems do not automatically establish a defective material. Coverage is limited to eligible materials and excludes labour, workmanship and conditions outside the product itself.

Materials warranty questions

Coverage should be clear before there is a concern.

How long is the Dynamic Painting materials warranty?

Eligible coating materials supplied for an accepted Dynamic Painting project may be reviewed for up to two years after project completion, subject to the written project documents, product eligibility and the limitations on this page.

Does the two-year warranty include labour or workmanship?

No. This is a materials-only warranty. Labour, surface preparation, application, removal, reinstallation, access equipment and other service costs are not included unless a separate written agreement explicitly says otherwise.

What materials can be considered for coverage?

Coverage is limited to eligible paint, stain, primer or other coating material supplied by Dynamic Painting for the surfaces identified in the accepted project scope, when the concern is attributable to a qualifying material defect.

Does the warranty cover cracking, peeling or water damage?

Not automatically. Cracking, peeling, blistering and other visible changes can result from moisture, structural movement, previous coating failure, wood conditions, weather, wear or substrate problems. The actual cause and the applicable product terms must be reviewed.

Are decks and horizontal walking surfaces covered?

Horizontal walking surfaces, including deck boards, stairs, floors and other high-wear areas, are excluded unless a signed written project document specifically states otherwise.

Do manufacturer warranties still apply?

Any applicable manufacturer product warranty is separate, subject to that manufacturer’s own terms, documentation, claim procedure and exclusions. Manufacturer approval or replacement is not guaranteed.

How do I report a possible materials issue?

Contact Dynamic Painting within the applicable two-year period with the project address, completion date, affected surface, description and clear photographs. Keep available product and project documentation for review.

Does this page override my estimate or contract?

No. The accepted estimate, signed project documents and applicable manufacturer product terms control. This page does not expand coverage or create a labour or workmanship warranty.
